So, you want to start a YouTube channel.

Or, maybe you’ve already taken a crack at it and are looking for ways to take your channel to the next level.

The fact that you're reading this excites me for you. It means you’re not just tossing around ideas—you’re serious. You’re ready to approach this with intention. Sure, experimenting and throwing ideas at the wall has its place, but you’re looking for a clear strategy to grow consistently. You don’t want your channel to merely exist; you want it to thrive, reach thousands—maybe even millions—of viewers.

That mindset excites me because it’s one we share. Neither of us settles for “average.” We dive in with a plan, burn the boats (no backups, no excuses), and go all-in without hesitation. It’s not about the fear of failure—it’s about embracing failure as a stepping stone, trusting ourselves to navigate uncharted waters and achieve success.

If that sounds like you, let’s dive in and start building the foundation for your YouTube journey today.

My Story With YouTube

Starting a YouTube channel was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. What began as a creative outlet and build a personal brand has evolved into a thriving business with multiple income streams, allowing me to escape the corporate grind and live a life I love.

Like everyone else, I started with nothing: 0 videos, 0 views, 0 subscribers.

In 21 days and 3 videos, I hit the YouTube Partner Program benchmarks (1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours), earning monetization status.

Within just two months of being on YouTube, I had secured brand partnerships with “dream” companies like Garmin and Insta360, and packages of free products from various companies were arriving on my doorstep regularly to test and review.

By the six-month mark, my channel was generating more income than the average 9-5 job.

Truthfully, I didn’t fully grasp the channel’s success at first—not even after meeting YouTubers far more successful than I, who all asked the same question: “How did you do that?”

Maybe it was imposter syndrome. Maybe it was fear of negative judgement. But I didn’t even tell more than a handful of friends and family about my channel until it surpassed 7+ million views in the first year.

But let me be clear here: this wasn’t an “overnight success”.
